Continuing Education Units

Receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

We work in partnership with clients, families, healthcare and behavioral healthcare providers, community members, and local county systems such as education, criminal justice, law enforcement, health and human services, elected officials, businesses, and faith-based organizations.

Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery (StarkMHAR) is an approved provider of CEUs by:

  • Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist  Board for Social  Workers (RSX109202) and Counselors (RCX119207)
  • Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board

CEU Requirements & Certificates

  • CEUs are calculated from in-person sign-in sheets or Zoom attendance reports for virtual sessions. 
  • You will receive credit only for the time you are signed in or listed on the Zoom attendance report; exceptions cannot be made.
  • Cameras are encouraged to remain on during virtual trainings and required during breakout sessions. 
  • CEUs cannot be awarded for sessions under one hour, breaks, lunches, or activities not directly related to instruction. 
  • For conferences with multiple sessions, you much attend each session in full to receive credit.
  • Certificates will be emailed to the address used at registration and CEUs will be entered in CE Broker within 7 business days after the evaluation closes.
  • A completed evaluation is required to receive CEUs and a certificate.
  • Please keep a copy for your records.
