Where to get your opiate overdose prevention kit
Overdose prevention kits containing Naloxone are available at no cost to Stark County residents. Naloxone is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an opioid drug (including heroin, fentanyl, or prescription pain medications). If you know someone using opiates, get a kit and be prepared to save a life.

Harm Reduction Supply Vending Machines
“Harm reduction supplies” are items that can potentially save lives in high risk situations. These are provided widely and free of charge, so that long term recovery can be a possibility for everyone.
First-time participants will call Stark County TASC to complete a brief, confidential sign-up survey and choose a code to access the machine for 90 days. After 90 days, you’ll need to call and re-register to continue the use of the machine. (These machines are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.)
