Stark County Hoarding Coalition

Stark County Hoarding Coalition was developed in 2014 to respond to the hoarding problems in the county. The mission of the coalitions is to serve “…the community using an inter-disciplinary approach in providing outreach, treatment and education to the community regarding hoarding.”

Supported by Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery, the Hoarding Coalition hopes to:

  • Increase awareness of hoarding in the county
  • Educate the community regarding hoarding
  • Provide an inter-disciplinary approach to hoarding in the county
  • Increase resources, including treatment, of hoarding

The coalition consists of member of area Health Departments, Adult Protective Services, housing authorities, treatment providers, Stark County Humane Society, and many others.

The Hoarding Coalition meets from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on the first Friday of every month at The Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill.
