Stark County, OH (July 27, 2018) – In the most noticeable change in service delivery related to Crisis Intervention and Recovery Center’s (CIRC) transition of services to other community providers, detox services and 23 hour beds will be transferred to CommQuest and will be moved from CIRC’s 13th Street location in Canton to ReCOR, located at 1660 Nave Rd. SE in Massillon. This adjustment is effective August 1, 2018. These detox services along with an existing detox facility in Alliance will provide access to this crucial service for Stark County residents.
“CommQuest was a natural fit for these services, because they already provide them in Alliance,” said John Aller, Executive Director of StarkMHAR. “We know there’s been a healthy examination of any potential capacity and transportation challenges, and that access to detox services for those in need as well as staff retention is an ongoing priority,” he added.
A liaison has been established to encourage streamlined information for those receiving or seeking any of the services connected to CIRC. Anyone concerned or unsure about the continuity of their care should call John Miller, Transition Liaison, at (330) 452-6000.
