Who Should Attend This Training: Anyone wanting to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community is welcome to attend.
Description: The presentation will give an overview of the LGBTQ+ communities’ terminologies and why the LGBTQ+ has embraced the different terms, making it more inclusive. This will also include the breakdown of sexual orientation, gender expression, gender Identity, sex assigned at birth, romantic/emotional orientation, and how fluid it is through a unicorn. The last part will talk about the use of pronouns and why it is important to use them when supporting anyone part of the LGBTQ+ community, especially for the Trans community.

- Apply the terminology of the LGBTQ+ community
- Distinguish the difference between sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression
- Utilize the correct pronouns for their clients that are part of the LGBTQ+ community
