Who should attend: Any community member interested in learning more about the African American Community and Culture: Racial Trauma and ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience)
About this event: The Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood as well as the conditions in the child’s environment that can undermine their sense of safety and stability. We will explore how racial trauma is also another factor within ACEs in the African American community, it’s consequences, and what we can do to better serve the community.
Location – Held via Zoom. Registrants will receive a link the week before.
Cost – This is a free training.
Education credits – CEUs will not be awarded for this course.
