Who should attend: Directed towards CPSTs and their supervisors, but open to anyone interested in attending.
About the training: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) funds services for people with serious mental illness (SMI) experiencing homelessness. The PATH program engages homeless adults, most from the street, connecting them to community mental health services, housing, mainstream benefits, substance use & other social services while meeting basic needs. Aaron Wagster, Support Services Manager with ICAN, will be at StarkMHAR to discuss how the program works as well as answer any questions on the work that his team does in Stark County.
Location – Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery; 121 Cleveland Avenue SW, Canton, OH 44702.
Parking – Parking located off of Tuscarawas Avenue, REM Parking. Vouchers provided.
Cost – This is a free training. Lunch will be at the discretion of the attendee. Feel free to bring lunch with you. The Inclusion Room offers a microwave and a mini fridge.
