Who should attend: Directed towards CPSTs and their supervisors, but open to anyone interested in attending.
About the training: What is the Homeless Hotline? How does it work, and who can use it? Learn how to navigate the Coordinated Entry System in Stark County for those who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. What steps are needed to secure permanent housing? How can you help the tenant retain housing once it is secured? If someone is not eligible for housing through the Coordinated Entry System, what can you do? What other resources are available and how do you find them?
Location – Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery; 121 Cleveland Avenue SW, Canton, OH 44702.
Parking – Parking located off of Tuscarawas Avenue, REM Parking. Vouchers provided.
Cost – This is a free training. Lunch will be at the discretion of the attendee. Feel free to bring lunch with you. The Inclusion Room offers a microwave and a mini fridge.
