About the training: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive integrated cognitive behavioral treatment for complex mental disorders. This workshop focuses on the skills training component of DBT: what the skills are, how to teach them and how to integrate them into your practice.
- Identify the appropriate uses of DBT skills
- Describe the individual skills within the four skills training modules of Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness
- Articulate methods of integrating DBT skills into a variety of setting with different populations
Location – Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery; 121 Cleveland Avenue SW, Canton, OH 44702.
Parking – Parking located off of Tuscarawas Avenue, REM Parking. $7.00 fee.
Cost – This is a free training. Lunch will be at the discretion of the attendee.
Education credits – 12.0 CEUs upon completion.
