Who should attend: Behavioral Health Case Managers, Community Health Workers, Leadership Staff, Nurses, Program Planning Staff, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Counselors, Social Workers and Certified Peer Support Specialists, Educators, System Navigators and/or Cultural Brokers are encouraged to attend.

About this event: The Stark County Cultural Competence Committee and Learning Community (SC3C) invites cross-system partners to learn and explore best practices for serving and engaging populations in Stark County’s continuum of care.  This particular session will serve as an overview of Latinos in Ohio, including a brief review of cultural components.

About the presenter: Lilleana Cavanaugh, MBA, CPM serves as Executive Director for the Ohio Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs, State of Ohio with the mandates to advise legislators and elected officials on matters related to Hispanics in Ohio, to connect the different Latino serving organizations across the state, and to build the capacity of Latino leaders and serving organizations.
